Classwork Day 1: Here is the first day powerpoint.
Homework Day 1
- Coulomb's Law/ Atomic Structure & Types of Matter (p. 7-11)
- Average Atomic Mass & Mass Spectrometry (p. 12-13)
- Intro Survey, Safety Contract
- Overview of Class Policies and Procedures (whee!): Digital Scavenger Hunt (Hint: every question can be answered from information that you can find on my website or in your booklet.)
- Chemistry Pre-Test: What do you remember about tasty and delicious chemistry? (j/k: this is a review Kahoot over the content that might show up on the knowledge check next class!)
Homework Day 1
- Complete Intro Survey, Safety Contract
- Sign up for Quest (the location of your MC homework and test corrections - whee!)
- Sign up for AP Classroom (the location of your FR homework - whee!)
- Lab Fees payment: use the linked google form to pay the $15 lab fee (super important to help us keep supplies for labs ready to go all year!) If your family can't afford the fee, no worries: there's a place on the form to let me know.
- Review! Lots of optional videos below to help you remember the glories of chemistry: notes to match are found on pages 5-13 of your booklet. (These concepts are fair game for a knowledge check next class!) You can find an answer key to all review videos here. There are also extra practice questions on booklet pages 14-19 (answer key linked).
